ART DUBAI 2012 VIP OPENING
Gallerie Janine Rubeiz presented a performance by Maria Kazoun "They were there".
Lace lizard by Joana Vasconcelo was sold on the 1st night. I wonder where it lives now.
Cute couple from Switzerland are in Dubai for the design days - loving green Marni on Franziska Kessler and will try and check out your design furniture display next to Burj Khalifa in the next few days!

Belgian Artist Wim Delvoye known for his neo-conceptual works which are often shocking. Here his "Dump Truck" - laser-cut stainless steel, presented by a Dubai-based gallery Isabelle van den Eynde.
Teresa Anchorena and Clara Cullen from Buenos Aires - your gallery rocks ladies, especially works by the 80 year-old Argentinean artist Julio Le Parc who came up with his precise-as-a-computer graphics before the computers were even invented. I was walking around looking for a piece of art worth taking a picture next to. It was a no-braner!

BOUTIQUE 1 FASHION SHOW HOSTED BY MIROSLAVA DUMA
Boutique 1 in JBR organized an invitation-only fashion show hosted by international style icon Miroslava Duma who in real life is very sweet as well as stylish.
Stylish guests wore brights - yellows and pinks. We could see a lot accessorized with the latest Marni for H&M accessories launched in the UAE the day before - bracelets, collars and necklaces.
Rather than focusing on the show we will focus on guests attending the show and their style.
Below: Both stylish and beautiful the First Lady of the Middle Eastern Fashion and Nina Ricci ambassador Lina Samman and fashion designer and image consultant Charlotte VanderHaer.
Here we got a glimpse on Lina's style - skinny jeans paired with a classic jacket. Love the look!

OMG, is she holding the Cambridge Satchel fluoro bag? We want one pronto!
Oh look - the girl in yellow is trying to have the exact same look as Miroslava during the NYFW in 2011. She even has the same cardigan! (see, it's over her bag below)
